The term "landscape design" rapidly broke into our lives, with little in a decade at the root changing the view of properly arranged country estate. Seedbeds with strawberry and cucumbers under glass were replaced by rock gardens and artificial reservoirs, flower gardens, garden sculptures and small architectural forms. New fashion trends enliven the image of the space adjacent to the house, introducing salt and highlight individuality of its owners. However, all the tweaks for the most part reflect a purely aesthetic side of improvement, while there is another important element of garden landscape, and combines beauty and usefulness.
